Subject: Re: Underwater propulsion
I am an IANTD Technical/Extended Range Diver who owns an Aquazepp LS-T-24.
The varient
I have is a 1.2 Meter tow behind with Integrated 55 watt nose cone head lamp
and a fixed speed, spring actuated throttle. The vehicle is rated for
a speed of 3-4 knots.
    Things I like about it:
     1. | Plastic Screw (will fracture if body part gets sucked instead of
chopping an arm or leg off)
     2. High Powered Head light with difuse reflector
     3. Simplicity...very easy to maintain
     4. High Mean Time Between Failure on parts
     5. Distribution of center of gravity

Things I dont like about it
     1. Absence of steerable bow planes (I understand they are an option
on versions without the head lamp
     2. No spring loaded return on Head Lamp switch....if light is acidently
knocked on it will continue to burn out battery/maybe start fire
     3. Tow behind difficult to control without harness...maintaining a hold
on pistol grips while at speed for extended period is a real problem

I am definately interested in knowing more about your project. Please forward
details to my email address...
