Could not agree with you more. I don't care which company sends a post about
an update. Even if does not affect me directly, it lets me know that they
are working to improve their product.  Its the nonsense that followed that
bothered me.

Remember the good old days when the list would crash once a week and weed
out the complainers that have nothing better to do.
