Dave,

you wrote that the fusing current on a 12 gauge Cu wire is
235 Amps.  I have 20 gauge at 58 Amps but I don't have the
definition of fusing current handy.  Do you happen to know
just how fast (how many seconds) it takes a 12 gauge wire
to melt at such a high current ?
