The other day, Some Stroke said:
> "If we all dove WKPP style than we'd turn back the
>clock of dive equipment about 20 years."

This is one more misquided quote by our contingent of detractors, which is
none other than those out there who would sell shitty gear and teach bad
methods.

Let me just tell all of you strokes a couple of facts. The guy who
designed the Navy's EX19 rebreather and who is responsible for the current MK16
version, which is the evolution of the Biomarine 15.5 that is now in civillian
use, was the former Director of WKPP.

We have the most advanced scooters in diving. We have the most advanced
lights. I do not see any of you big-mouthted strokes diving nicad powered
scooters which will go to 1000 feet, burn for two hours, and are the size of a
Tekna, which I have had for six years. I do not see any of you strokes with
lights the size of conventional dive lights that burn for over five hours with
a
50 watt bulb. I did not see any of your line markers out ten thousand feet in
Wakulla, or anywhere else I have been - you don't know how to get there, but
you
sure know how to bullshit.

We have the most sophisticated regulators tuned and mathched to our
specifications. We have custominzed and improved every piece of gear out there,
and we have shared this infomation willingly with divers and manufacturers -
you
asholes jsut don;t want to hear it. I do not see any of you strokes in the
machine whop with me working these things out, or on the auto cad , I see you
being and looking like complete idiots. I see all of you pigs trying to sing,
but hear no music.

I am sure I wil not see any of you fat slobs on the plane with me when I
fly out to San Francisco and meet with Oceanic to help them improve the Mako so
that you weenies will have a better dive vehicle. I did not see any of you
helping me work with other manufacturers on improving the simplicity and
reliabiltiy of regulators and other gear, or taking the time and making the
effort to do anything but run your big mouths and criticize the best in the
business because some dumb redneck slob in central Florida with a second grade
education , a beer gut and a hash pipe told you that we are not nice guys.

I do not see any of you out working out the details of a cave-diving
rebreather, but I sure here all of you pussies yapping about it. While you jerk
off over this, I am out there doing it.

Step up and pet the pony like I do, or shut the fuck up. When ANY of you
have ANY gear as sophisticated as what we use, and that reads BEEN THERE DONE
THAT AND MAKE IT WORK, not slober over it and do nothing, you can creiticize me.

In the meantime WKPP is on the leading edge, and has the end of the line
to prove it, ad I do not want to hear any more crap out of people who could not
get to our fust stage drop about what we do and don't know - it is pretty
obvious .
