I am having trouble identifying an artifact that was located on a W.W.II navel vessel. The artifact Consists of 6 brass tubes, each is 2" in diameter. The lengths are, 12", 6", 3", 1.5" and two at 3/4". The sum of five PCs equals the length of the 12" pc. Each brass tube contains a metal cylinder of equal length. The steel cylinder appears to be some sort of weight. The cylinders were in a fitted wood box and appears to be a calibration device. Any help identifying this is greatly appreciated Best Regards Alex
