OK, folks, how 'bout putting all that energy I've been seeing in
the indignant responses to Dennis's message into something useful?
We seem to have gotten into a rather emotional debate that's got
lots of people at the extremes, and the extremes are almost never
the best answer.  While I would never advocate withholding information,
I do think Dennis has a very good point in that the more experienced
technical divers sometimes need to be more aware of how their statements
may be percieved by a less experienced diver.

I think Tim's proposed announcement is a good compromise between
withholding information completely, and saying "f*ck the newbies, if
they die they probably deserve it."  Let's turn down the flamethrowers
a notch or two and work on an answer everyone can live with, OK?
