It seems rather obvious what George has in mind: 1) Gain control of the NACD 
for his own purposes and those of the WKPP, 2) Then kick all of the rest of 
the cave divers (including instructors) out of the organization (or at the 
very least run them off with his obnoxious predjudism).  Are you thinking 
ahead to what happens then?  Cave property management and access, training and 
certification all based upon what gear George thinks you should buy and how 
George thinks you should put it on.
     There are some that think that this is an exageration but the more you 
understand the "I'm okay but the rest of the cave diving world that doesn't 
agree with me is a dumb redneck" attitude the more you understand that this is 
predjudism and egomania in its purest, ugliest form.  I know for a fact that 
Lloyd Bailey doesn't believe it ( you'll have to get rid of him George).  I 
know that the NSS board doesn't believe it ( I know, George, you think that  
all of them are ignorant fools, too). 
     95% of the cave community aren't fools, George.  On the whole, they are 
well educated, intelligent, thoughtfull people.  Mother nature has a way of 
taking care of those cave divers who are not (natural selection).
       In any activity, professional or not, there is more that one method 
utilized.   
     You have helped to develop a very successfull method, George, that 
     works for you.  The vast majority of the community uses other gear and 
     other methods that work for them.  The safety record of the community 
     proves the other methods are safe as long as you follow the rules of 
     cave diving.  ---------
