It was reported that the Drager spring-loaded canister was not ideally designed for the fill-line that Draeger recommends. The concern was that pressure from the springs against the absorbent might lead to canister distorion and possible leakage. My contribution to the discussion was to underscore the importance of proper canister packing, to avoid "settling of contents" and subsequqnet flow channeling. I suggested that the engineers at Draeger have enough experience that they are not likely to design something incorrectly, but it seems I may have been proven wrong. Rich
