I have to tell you guys, unless the gas is turned off, the pressure on the inside is the same as on the outside. Who was you rebreather instructor, Rocky Balboa? I also just have to say this - none of you gets the least bit worried about diving dive rit e swaure lights, but you worry about the shape of a drager canister? Don't make me laugh . Who said this anyway, tell me it was not Pyle. -G On Mon, 14 Oct 1996, severns@al*.ne* (Mike Severns) wrote: >Rich, > >Deformed canister didn't seem to catch your attention? Does the Cis Lunar canister deform under pressure? Since canisters are on our backs, it is hard to say if they deform, but I don't think mine does! At least I don't have any leakage. I have never seen a Drager unit, but from this post I would think it is very frail? > >Channeling is the the obvious danger. With a good channel set up you should have very little breathing resistance and extremely poor CO2 absorption outside of the channel.
