Dude,

I think i finally understand where you, pete and tj are coming from. It's still 
a crock, but i understand what your perceptions are with regards to safety. The 
way you guys are diving open circuit, maybe a rebreather would be safer.

It still sounds like the best reasons for getting a breather are the chicks. My 
only concern is if everyone gets one then Monique will be overburdened - maybe 
pinkie will volunteer to take up the slack.
