Last week I finally sat down and designed my own wrist band made out of some
2' wide velco bands with reinforcement and some 3 smaller 1/2' pieces of
material sowed/glued on top. The cost was around $5 in materials and a
couple of nights designing and creating the thing. Very sturdy and seems to
me to be a lot stronger than the existing rubber wrist band. And the best -
IT DOES FIT MY ARM WHEN IN DRYSUIT :-) The basic idea is 'stolen' from these
sports watch bands.

I have a .PDF file with the design. Email me if you want it.

I have the Nitrox IIa with the backlit and it works *great* on depth and at
night. The only problem is that is does use up the batteries very fast, as
it is get's turned on by touch/tapping. And it does tend to turn on during
handling/transport. But it is all worth it.

Just my $0.0025
