Richard; Seems very unfortunate that the gear failed to be held for inspection! Certainly everyone participating in this sport in anything more than a "shallow reef way" knows how important it is that the divers rig is analyzed after an incident. Question: does anyone know if the rig made it to the surface and was then ditched, or did the diver shed the gear on the bottom? If so, was the gear subsequently retreived?
