Dennis, Well I took it for a year and thought I felt great. But earleier in the year I realized that not only were my feet swelling up after minimal walking etc. but so were my hands and lips and mouth after minimal trauma, e.g., using a screwdriver or hammer or biting my lip. Now I was also taking big doses of Vit C, E and some A,as well as a proprietary mixed vitamin pill. I stopped everything and for the first time in two years I am able to walk in ordinary shoes, do work around the house etc. I have added back Vit C 3Grams/day and Vit E 400/mg day and 6 mg beta-carotene/day with no return of symptoms. Which of the various "health" preparations was significantly reducing my quality of life, I don't know. But DHEA is up there in the narrowing list. Another friend has also recently developed "gout" which went away when he stopped taking his multi-vit pill. If you have hot, itchy feet try laying off your vitamins for two weeks and see if it improves your symptoms.
