"I mainly use nitrox for multi-level shore dives to 30m. Even on these dives I certainly feel more clear headed when using nitrox. On deeper dives to 55m using air, but with EANx40 on stops below 6m and O2 at 6m and 3m last year I found I felt significantly better after those dives compared to doing them in the past on air alone. By "better" I mean I was less fatigued after the dives. The deco times, too, felt "better". This seems to be the experience of the others I dive with who use nitrox. What have others found?" __________ I dive with alot of Nitrox and Nitrox technical certified divers. They use it whenever they can get there hands on it. Im planning on doing the next course they offer. My shop mixes its own tanks so they use it quite often. They love using it for those reasons listed above. Much less fatigue than air and safer and shorter decompression along with less narcosis. They do some pretty technical diving at times. I know they have made mixes using only 29% O2 rather than standard 32 or 36% so they can do deeper dives (like 135') with nitrox rather than dive on air and then decompress on nitrox/o2. I really look forward to taking the nitrox course and at the same time Im eager to get accustomed to diving with narcosis. It can only make me a better diver. Right now I have my dry suit course to take tomorow so I can start my season early. Chris
