It is a 386sx 80Mb 120mm*100mm*80mm A head up display, that means that the display is attached to your mask and looks like a small television, this can be removed by flipping it out of the way. The image,color lcd and can display text, windows or processed sonar image. 120*60*60mm will fit most masks/helmets The battery back 3 hour duration 200mm*100mm waist mounted or tank mounted A sensor pack is optional and can can incorporate a sonar system allowing the diver to probe the invisable depth in front of him, the head up display shows the image. Sonar control unit 486 microprocesor most interfaces expansion capibilities Sonar freq 500khz beam 3deg * 10 deg vert scan angle 60 degrees number of beams 64 max range 50m it is tx triggered output interface RS485 The DIPS can be linked to a surface interface via an umbilicle, ( your safty rope ) or by acoustic telemetry, with allows te diver to remail untethered.
