Subject: Re: SPG and Reg on Deco Bottles

first, you should have the spg on a 7 inch hp hose. For a stage,
the lollipop hose is the only way to go, I have tried everything
else and it was always a clusterfuck. Then take some cave line
(oops, wrong list)...take some nylon braid and tie the guage to
the first stage so as to make the hp hose form a "U" shape and
be visible from the top of the bottle....or better yet buy one of
G's tapes, it has the whole enchilada in palin view w/details

power up the reg and shut down the valve, this seats all the
components to keep out any crap or water if your second stage
doesn't leak, and in the event of the reg free flowing-you don't
	loose your gas

the deal with putting the bottle on upsidedown is probably not a
good idea, since you cannot see it leak or malfunction-also you
might bang or drag it-also you now cannot see your new 7 inch hose
	w/spg

	again refer to the tape
