Sorry for being so naive george but i dont know what a v weight is.
Could you please explain, also what is the address of this picture of
your set up i have heard others mention. For your interest i am going to
try a freshwater dive this afternoon. I have only dived fresh twice
before in ewans ponds and piccanninie ponds in south australia. Its
illegal out here to dive caves without certification but its more fun
when youre breakin the law. The dive this afternoon is exploratory. Its
in a river which is still and clear, it has steep sides and was a huge
gorge thousands of years ago. It is rumoured to be 90m deep so i will
try to confirm this on the dive. Someone told me divers have been there
but couldnt get to the bottom but then again they may have
wet themselves at 20m. I'm doing this as a solo dive, but 
aren't they all. I presume it wont be too dangerous as there is no
overhead environment but i havent done this type of dive before. Can you
give me any advice? I intend floating out and dropping a shot lone first
to check depth and give some reference before descent. Its also my first
altitude dive.
