Scott, rebreather does not solve the tank problem - we still need safeties, backup, and deco gas. I refuse to breath out of one of those things for longer than necessary. Also, we show up with everything we need for several dives and backup for each bottle. We generally do not have to reload . This fall we will be taking some time off for multi-day diving if the system (Leon Sinks) gets clear again, and then we will need everything we can find.
