Reply to: RE>>wings for singles Bill, Although Dive Rite recommends that the original wings not be used with a single tank (and a tank adapter) I have had no difficulty using the original wings with the tank adapter with my single 120 and pony. The setup is very stable and the tank adapter is easily capable of taking the stress. Now using an aluminum 80 might be a different story as the wings would not wrap correctly around the tank. I have not dived with a setup like that so can only surmise that the setup would be somewhat unstable. I will find out soon as I will try my BC setup with an AL 80 soon.
