Another oxymoron is "Universally ideal rig configuration".

For me, it's because: 1) I can spend an hour at 300 feet complete all 
decompression with a 70-lb pack on my back and consume less than 10cf of 
gas; 2) I can sit silently on a reef and the fish don't even know I'm 
there; 3) my margin for error is measured in hours, rather than minutes 
or seconds.

You probably don't need a rebreather, but you are an uncharacteristically 
talented diver with 'nads the size of grapefruits. However, I betcha if 
you got to play with a good one, you would want it, whether or not you 
needed it.
