Jim, I did not see your name on the huge list of people that Pyle keeps
copying with this stuff. This was not directed at you, but squarely at Pyle who
insists on pretending to be an expert on everything that he has no fucking clue
about, while criticizing those whose tanks he could not carry.
Everytime some bozonic dive equipment manufacturer gives him some piece of
dogshit, he quickly recommends it to everyone, demostrating a complete lack of
integrity, exactly like Tom Mount does. Since I know Pyle, and know he is no
moron, I am always amazed that he thinks the rest of us are that stupid.
Two things: solo diving means diving by yourself, not diving some fucked up
gear, and proper wreck and cave rigs have simple sollutions and clean style,
not
the bullshit and fat slobbery ascotiated with New England wreck divers or dumb
red neck cave divers, but with the pros, like WKPP , who can do 10,000 feet at
285 in ONE FUCKING DAY , while I have to listen to the expert opinion of Pyle
and his idiot friends who took 129 dives to go to where my setup divers get on
a
hundreds dive.
I do not care what somebody's mistaken beliefs or bullshit opinions or
other personal preferences are, but I will always object to people blabbering
from a supposed position of "authority" when in fact they have no practical
experience.
I have the experience, I have the track record, and I can explain com
pletely and fully why I do what I do, and why all of the little bullshit
deviances are counter=productive for any type of diving at all.
The pony bottle horseshit has been expl;ained, but the know-it-all strokes
keep bringinbg it up. Just as in the ccase of square lights, dive computers,
technbical bc's, and other weenie crap, if you bought it you got fucked, and it
is time to admit it and move on the the proper way of doing things .
If you guys are this fucking stupid about regular gear, you have no
prayer
of making an informed decision about rebreathers, and I wilud strongly suggest
you consider the source on any of this, and check thier motiveation, and the
degree to which they are being subsidized by manufacturers. As all of you know,
many dive euqipment manufacturers are scared to death of me, as they could give
me equipment and I would throw it overboard and badmouth them in a New York
minute if it even fell short in one minor respect. Good luck.
