Only one of my short hoses stick out in the breeze (the bottom gas 2nd 
stage that I breathe from), and it doesn't stick out that far. Maybe in a 
wreck it would be important, but for me it is not.

Hell, I've always known there's hope in solo diving.  But I realise that 
many folks who dive outside of caves still have a "personal preference" 
for diving with other people.
