T.J., just clip the upper clip to the left chest d-ring, and the lower clip to the left hip d-ring. They should never cross the body, and they should never be clipped to the tank in the back. Only a stroke would do that. If you do, it makes you appear like a Thanksgiving turkey, a fitting image for most "techdivers". Keep the upper clip tight, that is the one that matters for drag, and the lower one loose, so the bottle does not fight the flow. We put the first three on the left side so as not to get a pendulum effect going (two in that position, one towed by the nose from the hip, and so as not to get in the way of the scooter wash, as the scooters have a right-hand trigger and are closer to the body on the right. If yoiu keep the bottles together, they present less drag as well. Some buffoons think they should put certain mixes on one side and certain on another. Anybody that stupid need not be doing this. The bottles should be marked as in the video, and that is the end of the problem. Do not mark the regs eithter, as this doubles your chances of a fuckup. - G On Thu, 29 Aug 1996, <tjm@ea*.ne*> wrote: >George, > >Could you please post someplace an explanation of the RIGHT way to carry >stage bottles.
