No.  If it was a wreck dive, then penetration can be assumed.  The current 
can change drastically while you are sheltered within the wreck.  As for
being swept away, again no.  I have done many dives on a wreck in strong
current.  The rule is to keep in contact with the wreck or a (strong) line.
While in the current, you pull yourself along, hand over hand.  Swimming
is pointless.

You know, this possibility never even occured to me.  Hmmmm....
