Subject: Re: glossery (Glossary)
Dear Mr. HeyyDude:
Thank you very much for your helpful glossary of terms. In
regards to your glossary there are still a couple of questions I have and I
hope that you will help. I'm 5'5" and weigh 465lbs.. When I'm cave or wreck
diving I mount my lunch pale and a feedbag to my manifold which is held in place
by a bungie chord. This is so that I'm sure to have my last meal if I'm not
going to make it out. Between the bulk of the pale and my feedbag I can't reach
the knobs on my valves. I heard of a device that will help but I can't remember
what the name of it is. Could you tell me what the name of the device is? Will
it help, and where I can find one?
I was also wondering what trimix is. I"m hoping that it is
some sort of diet supplement because I am slightly overweight as I mentioned and
I think if I could lose a couple of pounds I might be able to get the dive
chicks to pay some attention to me.
The last question I have since your being so nice is what are
the advantages to diving with nitrous? Everytime I went on a dive boat I thought
that the other divers with those green labels on there tanks were laughing at my
less than perfect body and making fun of me in my lycra suit but I just noticed
last weekend that the label says "Nitrous"no wonder they have been laughing. I'm
relieved that it isn't my slightly overweight condition but why would they want
to dive with laughing gas? When I asked them what Nitrous diving was all about
they wouldn't stop laughing. I'm glad they are happy but is it safe to be
laughing that much while diving. I see them underwater looking at me and they
are laughing so hard that they are always clearing there masks and spitting out
and retrieving their regulators. It looks pretty dangerous to me. What are the
advantages?

Thanks for your help. I hope that you will continue to educate us "NEWOBESIES"
