Hi !

As said in a prev. mail i got too many inquiries regarding buying this unit,
so i'll post a summary what i found out yesterday.

I had a chat with the owner of this diveshop and presented him All
your e-mail printouts:
Here are his answers (not mine !!!!!)

1) the adress in russia will be kept secret due to safety reasons for 
   both sides . ( this unit is still military equipment & in use)

2) the owner of the diveshop is not interested in selling this unit to
   foreign countries unless you show up here in switz and handcarry the
   rebreather back (you also have to sign a non liability agreement in advance)
   the reason for this is ,that he has no e-mail, a lot of work to do and
   don't want to spend money in telephoning/ faxing throughout the world,
   arranging transport and so on.the price is calculated acc. to be
   picked up here in switz.
   (but he offered me,to sell the units to me and i can then ship them 
   around the globe).

3) A test-dive with this unit in a pool is free of charge if performed
   during a course-break of an official rebreather-tarining conducted
   through his school.

4) A test-dive in greater depth (in a lake) will be accompanied
   by this guy and cost 250 .- swiss francs. This fee will be deducted
   from the price of a rebreather in case of you buy one.

5) I made yesterday 36 pictures of the unit and all the available 
   accessoires incl full-face mask and russian drysuit (with full face
   mask attached).i'll prepare (if the fotos are well) a documentation
   which i can send to you if you cover the costs.i also got
   a brief technical description and schematics about the gas-flow
   in german and in english.the copies are very bad and its not possible to
   scan them and put on a web-page.

6) The original Manual is printed in russian-language and printed
   in cyrillic letters !!!!!
   A german translation is available ,but handwritten from a
   russian.A copy of this manual is part of the unit.
   NO ENGLISH VERSION YET !!

7) For those people who live close to Switzerland,i'll post the adress
   and the fax/tel #.
   
   BUT PLEASE PROMISE ME TO CONTACT THIS GUY ONLY IF YOU INTEND TO
   SHOW UP HERE (and speak german because he doesn't speak english !)
