As yo pointed out, only a stroke would use a pony bottle in the first place. A
proper rig for overhead implies a dual outlet source, and the use of ponies is
a vestigal reminder of the days of single outlet manifolds, and is now
considered proof of being a stroke. These people probably carry cranks around
with them in case they need to start their Model T Ford. It is a lot less
expenseive to just buy a T-shirt saying, "I am a stroke, and have the gear to
prove it", rather than actually taking the risk of diving a convoluted rig.
Asking how to rig a ponie is like asking how to hold a buggie whip. Get
