Item Subject: Message text Joan- I'm not saying anything about regulators for O2 service, but I have personnaly (accidentally in grad school) melted titanium when pure oxygen at only about 3000 psig came in contact with residual hydrocarbons-so yes, oxygen can ignite at pressures below 10,000 psig, if the conditions are right- not likely but I know it occurs because I've seen it.
