When we watch the news, and programs such as Dateline that bring us the news events, we must remember that you're watching what they (the networks) want you to watch, and what they're allowed to show you. A very slow start, and the fact that authorities placed PD and FD divers on the job first, was an definite and obvious mistake, but I can assure you at the level where the operation is today, and was three days after the crash, FD and PD divers are playing a very small part. If the question is, "Should we have been doing more, and can we do more today?" Of course, we should, and could. This is in no way a bashing of FD and PD divers.
