It still reads, but goes into violation mode so you can't use it, once you're out of the water for another 24 hrs. As a rule on most of my dives, I clear the 30fsw stop, may or may not clear the 20ft. stop. If it's within a few extra minutes I'll do it, then run up to my to my 10fsw stop. At that point when I leave the water, I can leave the Bridge II at 10fsw and avoid the violation mode if I really want to. Same for 20 or even 30ft stops by just tying it off.
