We will/do take teaching these systems seriously and I was not trying to 
change your desire of type unit to use. As I stated I use both and will 
continue to do so there is a place, and situtation for each type.

I rather felt that you were starting a debate on the units and their 
safety which I agree on a active semi closed and on any fully closed 
unit I would not want to dive without a po2 monitor. It is really not 
needed on the new unit any more than it is on SCUBA OC that is.Just 
analyize before. What I want to do is to put a leak alarm just as I do 
in camera housings as that is the most difficult area to monitor on all 
units and it is the most common problem area.
