I came across a "Riffee" (sp) Co2 inflated nylon red tube with the diver
down flag on it. It's primary use is with spear guns. Used it for the
first time in Hawaii this year when all the rest of the team used
standard lift bags for drift deco. Because a local decided to pick up
their lift bag when the team was at 40fsw, it took them away from me so
that we were no long within visual contact while doing deco. The chase
boat choose to follow their lift bag even after the local boat dropped it
back in the water when they found only line attached because mine was
more visible particularily when I went a lb or two neg. and pulled it
from one end straight up into the air. The CO2 is designed to put just
the right amount of CO2 into the bag to be fully inflated at the surface.
It went up like a rocket from 70fsw, but at some depth might not work as
it might be neurtal, but I haven't used it from below 70fsw yet.

That reminds me, I promised to send my buddy in Hawaii one of the things.
(Dennis, I'll go get it, sorry I forgot)
