pO2's are the same there are other changes though like a bcd is no longer 
required while free diving... >

Haven't tried that yet...The visibilty in Lake Notoma is great 
though...Last year it was about 5in and the water temp was 41F.  We only 
go there for training dives though.  Most diving is on the North Coast 
between Big Sur and Ft Bragg.
