George-

I've got the old style bondage wings (so sue me). Rather than doing the
whole sausage-wrapper routine, I just run a piece of surgical tubing
through the top grommet, tie a knot, then through the back grommet and
tie a knot. The wings are not in bondage but tucked back slightly to keep
them flopping around. When I got the wings they were in total bondage and
when inflated if you pulled on the top air valve toggle (which is
actuated by a string running through a channel under the bondage tubing)
it would jam wide open. What engineering.

As for the 2nd inflator, my drysuit fund was dealt a mortal blow by a
slight engine problem on my boat so I use a wetsuit at the moment. Not
having a drysuit as a backup buoyancy source, it's good to know the 2nd
is there. I just tube it off at the right rear of the BC and forget about
it. But if I need it, it is accessible.

Instrokter! HAR HAR!
