  Tim, you miss the point also - read the report. You Great Lakes guys need a 
copy of the tape - i will donate it to keep you alive. Reproduce it and pass it 
around. 

   
I repeat - only a real moron stuffs hoses , and only a bigger moron would teach 
somebody to do this. We do not allow this at our dive sites. Why is that? 

We have only had one stroke show up in the last three years with a stuffed
hose, 
as this stupidity is rapidly dissappearing from cave diving. Our, (read MY) 
stress and pressure to do it right has all but eliminated this form of
stupidity 
in cave diving, and I believe the general move towards doing things the right 
way has and will continue to reduce the number of accidents.

this Whitefish case is one where you can directly point to the specific piece
of 
gear buffoonery as the cause, where in most cases the overall level of strokery 
is so high that anything could have gone wrong
