Therefore, the issue isn't whether or not bubbles "form", but rather whether and to what extent they grow (or are eliminated -- years ago there was an hypothesis that the reason people who do frequent and repeated deep dives are less prone to DCI is that their hyperbaric exposures assisted in the elimination of the micronuclei "seeds".
