Dudes, 
 
There is a little trick that I use, especially when I am diving with my
partner, who is usually so spastic to get out of the water after a dive so
he can eat, that he bobs on the surface waving at anything that looks like
a boat - 
 
It goes like this:  I just hang at about 10 ft.  watching him on the
surface waving his arms, shooting off his flares, blowing on his whistle,
all the while extending his super-deluxe 60 ft. long safety sausage. 
 
As soon as I see that the boat has run him over, and the crew is busy
detangling him from the prop, I climb up the swimstep and eat his lunch. 
 
And he knows this is true...
