Subject: How to know When Your Scrubber Is Dead
Barrie,

John from Brown University suggested a temperature array to determine when
your scrubber medium is exhausted.

I have an easier way.

When you feel like you can't breathe fast enough, and you start seeing stars
and black pin-holes in your vision, and your head begins to pound like a drum
- your scrubber is no longer any good.

I myself have performed this test on a 240' dive. The headache lasted about
45 mins, and went away slowly. I don't recommend that everyone try this -
just trust me.

Kevin.
