The Dive was on the wreck of the Pan Am off Morehead city, NC , it was a 
400+ ft dive

Doug's wife was on board and acting as a safety diver

The boat they were diving from was the SEA WIFE IV

USCG and many other boats searched for Doug to see if he had come to the 
surface

no body was found

Memorial services are planned
