John, Many, many thanks for the info on the Lusy incident. Perhaps Tom Mount will be able to give me some more info on the O2 hit on a Doria diver that had not exceeded his CNS clock, by the tables, as you suggest. I have found at excellent WWW site with a paper by the US Naval Medical Research Institute on "A Model for predicting central nervous system toxicity from hyperbaric oxygen exposure to man". It's at: http://www.uwsports.ycg.com/magazine/1996/april/diver's_safety_training.htm Much of the Navy research is published in technical papers that even our university medical library does not have. It's a joy to see this accessible on the Web. Even if you don't buy their theory, the references are among the most complete available. Safe diving, Peter Heseltine
