The information I have indicates that the US Navy uses PO2 = 0.7 ATA for thier fully closed circuit Mark 15/16 rebreathers. NEDU reports indicate that this can spike to 1.8 ATA for some descent profiles. Has the US Navy adopted a new limit of 1.3 for thier fully closed circuit rebreathers? I believe that for the old Emerson Semiclosed Circuit constant mass flow rebreathers they limited the exposure to PO2 = 1.6 ATA for the supply gas ( actual exposure would be less ). Is there a publicly available Royal Navy Manual equivalent to the US Navy Diving Manual Volume 2 which describes Royal Navy rebreather diving operations? Barrie
