There is plenty of data from both military and civilian sources. The
problem with this is that we now see second generation people who are
digging into the farthest corners to pull spurious pieces of info. The
data has been confirmed by people in the know (Dr Hamilton et al) - for
sure you will always get people outside the demographic curve that will
tox at lower PpO2's - the same people crash cars for no aparent reason
etc.

That is not true. Most people state this - ask again and you will find
most people have an injection of narcosis bravery sooner or later.

Different to yours, but then I am what you may consider
'survivor/macho/foolish' . But I know one thing rebreathers are a whole
level above OC nitrox. So the phrase 'do it right, or don't do it' takes
on a whole new meaning.
