Dennis, I guess the whole thing really boils down to whether there are actual data that tell us whether *brief* exposures to pPO2 of 1.3 ATA have or have not been assocaited with CNS seizures. Brett Gilliiam contends that there has never been a situation where anyone has taken an O2 hit at pPO2 less than 1.6 ATA, who has not already exceeded their CNS clock. I am not so sure and don't read the US Navy Divers handbook that way. But we need info. Do you know where or who mught have it?. Drager fax'd me today and suggested I contact their Rebreather Advisory Board - Prof Max Hahn, Dr. van Laak, Dr. Luchtenberg and Prof Elliot (London). I will try to track them down when I get back from a trip to Argentina the week after next. -ph
