Don't be a bonehead.  Trimix diving gives you a good understanding of gas 
physics, and presumably a high comfort level and ability to maintain 
calm in stressful situations. It also gives you an ability to manage 
decompression dives.  None of these things, in my opinion, are going to 
kill rebreather divers. What is going to kill rebreather divers is 
complacency and lack of discipline.  You need to learn the system, and 
learning the system takes time, no matter how much "real" diving (as you 
call it) you do.  Time to wake up now.

Which heros have acces to Cis-Lunar rebreathers?  Why are you so anxious 
to see people use Cis-Lunar rebreathers for cave diving?

How many years did it take to develop the USN Mk-16?  How many of those 
have been used for cave diving?
