But this doesn't mean that ppCO2 in the *inhaled* gas is zero,
just that it's not increasing with time.  I think Carl's
question was about just what is the ppCO2 in the inhaled gas
and I realize that if it is not zero it got to be a function
of the breathing rate, the percentage to which the cannister
is spent and possibly also the water temperature.

Do we have an upper number for ppCO2 in the inhaled gas
in a fully functional rebreather ?
