Marc,

What an interesting subject, one that has concerned me much.

I usually pick up the odd scallop and have lunch underwater. No
cheating here, you must use a big, heavy dive knife to open the
scallops otherwise you finish them too quickly. Starting at the 12m
stop, one scallop at 12m, another at 9m, three at 6m and at least 4 at
the pulled 6m stop.

I also take a magazine with me rolled up in a plastic bag. The mag
should be printed on fairly thick glossy paper. Each page, once read,
is then ripped off and recycled in a very environmentally friendly way!
Whilst the paper does get soggy, with care the mag is still readable
even after a few hours in water.

Harry.
