Sean, you are not talking apples and apples here, you are talking dumb and dumber. Obviously the OMS manifld is a horendous piece of shit, so that is out of the question. Rusting of Faber vs Presed Steel is also not in play. That leaves us with the only question, which is what buoyancy characteristic do you want. The Fabers make great oxyegn bottles, the pressed steels are for diving. If you are cave diving, you need 104's, but I am assuming that you wer not asking this, since the thread is on techdiver. - G On 16 May 96, <Sean.Holland@ch*.co*> wrote: > I'm plan to get doubles with an isolation manifold for ocean diving. > I'm considering the Dive Rite 95's or the OMS 98's, possibly the OMS > 108's. > > I'm leaning toward Dive Rite because I've heard that Dive Rite's > manifold is better and that their hot-dipped galvanized tanks will > last better than OMS in terms of rust and corrosion. > > I would welcome any one's perspective and advice on these different > tanks. > > Thank you. > >-- >Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@terra.net'. >Send subscription/archive requests to `techdiver-request@terra.net'. > >
