Abyss uses 32 compartments for the 4 Inert Gases we track and Model.
As well, we use Dynamic halftimes for all of the compartments.

As an example.
For Nitrogen, during the Ongassing phase using the Abyss 150 Algo we use the
following halftimes for the 32 compartments. As you will notice this has
allowed us to refine the middle tissue zone much better than the other models.

02.65, 05.30, 07.94, 10.07, 12.20, 15.37, 18.50, 22.53, 26.50, 31.80, 37.00
45.05, 53.00, 66.25, 79.00, 96.73, 114.0, 129.8, 146.0, 165.6, 185.0, 212.0
238.0, 271.6, 304.0, 351.1, 397.0, 450.5, 503.0, 635.0, 795.0, 1060.

This array is then modified to account for thermal stress and workload, as
well as changing from Ongassing to Offgassing.

The end result is that we have well over 100 halftimes per tissue per gas in
use while computing decompression.
