Does Abyss incorporate the "bubble thinking" into the first dive, or only 
the repetative dives?  It seems to me most important to reduce bubble 
formation after the first dive - in other words, the first dive should be 
done more conservatively (with deep stops, etc.) than the second dive.  I 
know this seems a bit twisted, but that has been my experience.  The deal 
is, you need to know that you will be doing a second dive when you 
calculate the deco for the first dive, so the first dive will be more 
conservative *in anticipation* of the second dive.
