Subject: VIKING SUIT ZIPPER CONVERSION

     I've got an extra zipper from a Viking suit. I'd like to use a section 
     of it as a relief zipper on the front of the crotch.
     Has anyone had experience using a fraction of a whole zipper?  My main 
     concern, of course is maintaining the waterproof integrity of the 
     section.
